Amendment VII
In Suits at common law, where the
value in controversy shall exceed
twenty dollars, the right of trial by
jury shall be preserved, and no fact
tried by a jury, shall be otherwise
re-examined in any Court of the
United States, than according to the
rules of the common law.

Amendment VIII

Excessive bail shall not be required,
nor excessive fines imposed, nor
cruel and unusual punishments
inflicted.

NWODF trains on the 2nd weekend of each month, both Saturday and Sunday, unless
specified otherwise.

August 16: Joint training session with 1st and 3rd BN's, Operation Nametaker; EPW
handling.

September:  AQT; hand to hand training; more IA drills

October 11 (one-day session): Joint training session with the Unorganized Militia of
Champaign County.  Hand to hand combat; squad formations and attack.

November 15 & 16: Weapons Weekend: Qualifications, Familiarization, shooting drills and
exercises.

December 13 & 14: Winter survival; improvised shelter; firestarting; treating cold injuries.

January 10 (2009):  Cancelled

February 21 & 22: Joint training exercise with NEODF: Operation Neutron Solstice

March 14 & 15: Small unit tactics; learning to tie various knots; practice AQT, possibly a
practice pistol marksmanship test

April 18 & 19: Edible plants; setting snares; more work on infantry skills.

May 15-17: Security detail, Armed Forces Day Celebration in Findlay.

May 23-25: Basic Infantry Course.   

June 20&21: Reconnaissance of the new training area we just got access to. Review of the
lessons from BIC.

July 11 & 12

August14-16:
Statewide FTX.
